Elvira Bach
Born in Germany in 1951, painter and sculptor Elvira Bach studied at the State Glass Manufacture School in Hadamar and at the Academy of Arts in Berlin. She emerged as the only internationally renowned woman artist among the "Junge Wilde" (Young Wild Ones), a group of radical German artists of the early eighties. Since 1978, main solo exhibitions in Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam, London, New York, Paris, Aix-en-Provence, Lisbon, Mallorca and Coppenhagen, to name a few.
