Jean-Michel Berts
French photographer Jean-Michel Berts has worked on very different themes over the last 20 years but began a special "cities project" a few years ago. He chose black and white to translate the infinite richness and subtleties of metropolitan areas. His techniques often involve months of preparation. Shots are taken at dawn or late at night in order to meet the most sophisticated lighting requirements.
