Bernard Bezzina

Born in 1956 in Tunesia, Bernard Bezzina started his work as an artist more than ten years ago. The last few years, he has been working on creating sculptures made of marble, bronze and resin.

Bezzina's sculptures and drawings are focused on female nudes. His "Callipyges" attract much attention because of their beautiful figures and forms. His ink drawings are admired due to the elegance he is able to capture with minimal strokes of his brush. At the moment he is working on a monumental, four-meter high water sculpture, made of marble, for the city of La Valette.

Bezzina lives in Toulon, France and Pietra Santa, Italy, where he works several months of the year in the quarries.
