Robert Combas
Robert Combas was born in 1957 in Lyon (France) and studied at l’Ecole nationale des Beaux-Arts de Montpellier. He started to exhibit his work in 1980. He moved to Paris the same year and shortly afterwards created the "Free Figurative Painting" movement with some of his friends. This artistic movement was largely inspired by popular music and culture.
Robert Combas did numerous solo and public exhibitions in France, Belgium, Switzerland, the UK, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, South Korea, Australia and the United States. Robert Combas lives and works in Paris.
